Devlin's cousin Aedan gave him some Star Wars toys when we were in Maryland. Devlin loves to play with the figures, but is a little confused about their name.

Some dorks built Gondor out of sand at the beach last weekend so I sent the Eye of Sauron to destroy it.

Devlin's Sunday

Devlin started Sunday with an early swim lesson. Devlin has been taking lessons since June and can now swim on his own. After his lesson, he had a snack and then asked to go back out to the pool. Devlin will stay in the pool all day if we let him. 

We got Devlin out of the pool around noon for lunch and at 1 he went down for a nap. He was very tired yesterday and slept until 4. After his nap, Devlin helped Bryan pick pole beans from the garden for dinner. Devlin asked to wear his footy pajamas for his nap and then stayed in them for the rest of the day.

Devlin asked if he could sleep in "sleeping dog" last night. He was very excited about it, but after an hour I heard him calling for me. I went to see what was wrong and he asked if he could sleep in his bed. He cracks me up, I told him of course he could. He climbed into his bed and was asleep in about 30 seconds.

The twins are crawling all over the house. Griffin has even started pulling himself up and cruising. Colette has not shown much interest in cruising, but she can crawl really fast. The babies are consistently sleeping through the night. They are in bed by 6:30 and sleep until 6:30-7. Naps are hit and miss. Colette is a great napper, but Griffin wakes up after 40 minutes. You can set your watch by the length of his naps. We might try separating them at nap time and see if that helps. The babies are eating solids three times a day and will pretty much eat anything. Tonight for dinner they had a hamburger, raisin toast, and applesauce. Colette's favorite toys are balls. She will roll them around the floor and chase them. Griffin likes any toy that Colette and Devlin are playing with.
