Muffins with Mom

The twins' preschool hosted "Muffins with Mom" today. The twins made paper fans and ate about 5 times their weight in food. I am not sure there was anything left when they were done. I tried to get some nice pictures with the twins, but they were not into it.

Piano Recital

Devlin started playing piano in September and has been taking lessons once a week. This past weekend, he played in his first recital. For those of you who know Devlin, this was a huge step for him. He was very nervous and we weren't sure he was going to actually play, but he did! After the program, he said it was a lot of fun and he wants to do it again.

I am a little late getting to this post, but Devlin as always had a great birthday. We started our celebration at home on his actual birthday. He requested Happy Meals and chocolate cake.

This year Devlin wanted to have his friends over and watch a movie outside. We ordered up some pizzas, popped a million bags of popcorn, and watched Ratchet and Clank.

Planes, Trains, and Automobiles 2017

For the third year (2015 and 2016), we took the kids to the Planes, Trains, and Automobiles Festival in Plant City. First stop is always the play area, face painting, monster truck building, and bounce houses.

For our latest trip to Disney, we stayed at Saratoga Springs. As always, the kids just wanted to hang around the hotel, play with their cousins, and ride the monorail.

4th birthday!

The twins turned 4 on November 8th. We had a small family party for them this year. For their party, they requested a princess and a ninja cake.

Colette is still a total girly girl. She loves all things pink and princessy. She is still playing soccer and has also started dance lessons. Colette is definitely the boss around here. She loves her brothers, as long as they know she is in charge.

Griffin loves to be outside. He has a hard time sitting still and needs to run. He likes to ride his bike and drive or work on his jeep. Griffin is still playing soccer and is getting really good. Griffin has been in speech therapy for the past 6 months and has made so much progress. He is quite the little chatter box now.

Big boy bike

Griffin has been riding a balance bike for the past year and was ready to upgrade to training wheels. Griffin hoped on his new bike and rode it Friday and Saturday. On Sunday, he asked that we remove the training wheels. After a a few falls and a complete meltdown, he got on the bike and took off riding. The neighbors even came out to cheer him on. H was so proud of himself!
