Splash zone

We took the kids to the zoo Sunday. Devlin's favorite animals were the lions and turtles. Devlin wanted to go on the flume ride, but you have to be 42 inches and he is only 40 inches. He was so upset, that we bought him an ice cream cone at 10:30 in the morning to cheer him up. I might have to put lifts in his shoes next time. Before we left, we let Devlin play in one of the splash zones.

Fishing

Devlin's first fish!

Matt set out a couple rods for Devlin last Sunday. He snagged a nice sized catfish that Devlin reeled in, with a little help, of course.

7 months

The twins are 7 months today!

Official Stats
Colette
15 lbs 14 oz
26.25"

Griffin
19 lbs 8 oz
27"

The babies still have not mastered crawling. Colette can go backwards and often gets herself stuck under the couch. Griffin has decided that rolling is his mode of transportation. Both babies are sitting up on their own. The last two nights the twins have slept through the night. We have been giving them an extra feeding of solid food in the evenings and increased their last bottle to 8 ounces and it seems to be working.

Maryland

We packed up all the kids and took a road trip to Maryland in May. I am still not sure how we made it happen, but we did. We had a ton of gear for the trip, but somehow Bryan was able to get everything in the car. We drove through the night, so the kids slept for most of the trip.

We spent the first part of the trip on Tilghman Island. Bryan's family were in town for his cousin's wedding. It was nice to have everyone meet the kids. Devlin had a blast playing with his cousins.

Two Supermans! (Supermen?)

I think Aedan and Devlin were having a dance off.

The twins were not as impressed.

Tilghman Island wedding.

The Brown boys and families.

Devlin and the Bay Bridge

For the second part of our trip, we headed to Baltimore. It was great to be back in Baltimore and act like tourists. We wandered around the Inner Harbor and Bryan took Devlin on the USS Constellation or as Devlin calls it "the shooting ship".

The twins were their too! They slept a lot in their stroller.

  Nap time!

We also visited the B&O Train Museum.

Another picture of the twins sleeping.

This is how we do rest stops!

All in all the trip went well, we may even do it again. Maybe...
